## Fleets, Assets and People:

In OffshoreSMS, all marine assets are part of a fleet. A fleet is simply the name of your business or organisation, and all fleet administrators have access to a special web dashboard to manage the assets and people in that fleet.

## User accounts & user profiles:

You will need a user account to access any part of OffshoreSMS, whether you are a fleet administrator, vessel owner or a deckhand. \
User profiles are owned and managed exclusively by you the user. Only you have control over what goes into your profile.

OffshoreSMS is a place to manage any number of marine assets. That can be vessels, tenders, tow vehicles, personal water craft, trailers, tour buses, offices, sheds, workshops or anything else!
