👍Update or resolve a Hazard/Defect

Information on how to add notes, resolve or restore a resolved defect.

Use the action buttons on the defect tile:

TIP: To add a comment about the actions towards resolution, use the "Add to Timeline" feature.

Edit the primary details:

To edit the Primary details (title and description, images, tagged P&E items, and priority level), from the list of current hazard/defects click the "Edit" button on the hazard/defect tile.

Add an entry to the timeline:

From the Current list, either select "View" then "Add to timeline", or simply select the "Add to Timeline" button on the hazard/defect.

RESOLVE the Hazard/defect:

1. From the Current list, select the "Resolve" button.

2. Choose from the list of resolution options and include any details about the action taken, then click "Resolve".

3. The Hazard/defect will move to the "Resolved" tab.

Re-activate a Resolved Defect:

From the resolved list, select the green "Re-activate" icon on the right of the line item:

Archive or Delete a Hazard/Defect:

A defect must be moved to "Resolved" before it can be archived. See above.

Currently there is no way to recover archived Hazards/defects, but it is coming soon....

From the resolved list, select the red "Archive" icon on the right of the line item:
