🏷️Asset Tags

Tags are useful for fleets with lots of assets, and helps with sorting and identifying assets into categories. I.E. Survey category, activity, area, manning levels etc.

Only full admins can manage the Tag library.

Asset Tags are managed from the Fleet Assets page.

(From your fleet home page, click on "Marine Assets", or click the ship icon, top left of screen).

Manage the list of available tags (the tag library):

1. From the "All Fleet Assets" page, "Clik on the "Manage Tags" button in the quick links menu, right of screen.

2. Enter a tag name and click "Save New Tag"

3. Click the pencil "Edit" icon to edit an existing tag name.

4. Click the trash can icon to delete a tag. NOTE: Any assets that had this tag assigned will no longer have it.

Assign or manage the tags assigned to an asset:

1. Click on an asset.

2. Look for the "Tags" section in the asset status table on the right of the page, and click the "Update Asset Tags" icon.

3. Choose the tags that apply and click "Update Tags".

Filter your asset list by tag:

1. Click the "Filter Items by Tag" button at the top of your list of assets

2. Choose the tag/s to filter by.

3. Choose from the drop-down menu whether to filter the list to only show assets that have ALL of the selected tags assigned, or with ANY of the selected tags.

4. Click "Update"

5. You can change or clear the filters by clicking on the "See Active Filter" button at the top of your list of assets, then click "X Clear Filters"

Show/Hide the tags assigned to your assets:

1. Click the "Show/Hide tags" button at the top of your list of assets.
