📂Grouping Assets

This page will explain how groups can be used to manage larger numbers of vessels or other assets.

Tip: consider grouping your marine assets to allow different admins to have access to different groups.

Only users with Full Admin Permission are able to manage groups.

The same asset can be in multiple groups at once.

Create a new asset group:

1 - Navigate to the Fleet Assets page. On the right, click the green "Manage Groups" button:

2 - Name the group in the pop-up window that opens, then click "Save New Group"

or click on the pencil "Edit" icon to change an existing group name.

3 - Hover over the group name so the "Show" button appears then click that to reveal the action buttons.

4 - Click the blue "+ Add to Group" button.

Select from the remaining assets to add to the current group.

Remember, you can add an asset to multiple groups!

Deleting a group:

You may only delete a group with no assets.

Use the "Remove From Group" function to empty the assets from group first, then select "Delete Group".

Assets removed from the group will simply be ungrouped, if not in another group
