Delete an asset

Information on how to delete an asset profile from OffshoreSMS

Deleting an asset will remove it's profile and history from the public database, but it will remain archived in OffshoreSMS for up to ten years.

If it is ever needed, or the asset profile ever needs to be re-activated, everything will still be there. Just contact OffshoreSMS.


Steps:

Go the Fleet Assets page

From your fleet home page, click on Marine Assets, or the ship icon top left of screen.

Click the red "Delete an Asset" button

From the quick links menu, right of screen

Choose the asset from the drop-down list

You will be asked to confirm the deletion. To confirm, click "Yes, Delete".

The asset will no longer be available to anyone.
