View an active trip

How to view the details logged during an active trip

Key Information:

If a trip has been started by an app user, it will appear as an Active Trip. This is indicated by the icon on the asset's title tile on the Fleet assets page, and by the Current Trip icon on the asset's status window on the Asset Dashboard.

From the Active trip page, Admins can:

  • Update the crew list

  • Update the details of the passenger manifest

  • Finish the trip

  • Add an entry to the trip timeline


View and manage the current trip (History Tab):

  1. From the asset's home page, select the "History" tab.

  2. Select "Completed Trips" form the list.

  3. Select the trip at the top of the list.

View and manage the current trip (pro trips add on enabled assets only):

  1. From the Asset's home page go to the "Manage Trips" tab.

  2. If a trip has been started, you'll see the active trip summary window here. Click on "View Current Trip"

Whichever pathway you access the active trip page from, you can use the menu options to manage and update the trip:


The Trip Links feature allows you to view the Public Trip Page,for the trip, and copy and paste the link to the Public Trip Page, which allows passengers to view the asset and trip details, complete forms and update their personal information.
