Generate a PDF of individual SMS content items

At OffshoreSMS we understand that your content is your content, and should not be locked up for any reason.

We're continually improving the way our users can share and disseminate SMS content, and generating PDF's is often a very useful way to share individual parts of your SMS.

There are two methods to generate a PDF version of your SMS content:

Option 1: Use the SMS token feature

Create a URL token with the selected sections you want to share, open the link then click the Print Icon. This will generate a PDF version.

Option 2: Use the "Generate PDF" button

Many sections have a built in a PDF generator, and we're in the process of adding it to more and more sections.

Currently you can print:

• Policies and Procedures

• Risk assessments

• Management Statements

• Start up and shut down checklists

• Induction checklists

• Safety briefing checklists

• The inventory list

• The hazards/defects register (active and resolved)

To generate a PDF:

1. Go to relevant section of the vessel's profile. In this example we'll choose Risk assessments.

2. Filter or sort the list as you require, or use the search bar to show only one item.

3. Click "Export to PDF".

4. This will save a PDF to your device's downloads folder, and create a link for you to open straight away.

Note: the PDF generator will observe any search or filters applied to your page and include any fleet content assigned to the asset.
