Instructions on sharing your SMS with external parties
NOTE: OffshoreSMS will not communicate on your behalf, or share your SMS content with external parties or regulators.
We've worked hard to ensure you can access and share YOUR content at any time. We aim to ensure that nothing is locked up from the owners to do with as they see fit.
SMS Tokens:
Creating an SMS Token
From the asset's home page, select the SMS tab, then "Share the SMS" from the right-hand menu.
Select "+ Add a Shared Token"
A window will appear where you can manage the content displayed in the SMS token.
Check or uncheck the box at the top to set or not set an expiry date.
Toggle each section On or OFF to determine which sections are displayed. Each section you select will appear in the list on the right of screen.
Drag and drop the sections to change the order, then click "Create Token".
The token will now appear in your list of tokens. You can create up to ten tokens at a time, and expired tokens will need to be archived.
Sharing an SMS Token
! Before you share your SMS token, you should select "View Link" to double check the content is ok.
This opens the page that recipients will see.
Option 1 - Share a link
The easiest way is to copy the URL link to your clipboard, then paste it into an email.
Click the black tag as above to copy the link to your device's clipboard, then open your email handler, start a new email and hit CTRL V to past the link into the email.
Option 2 - Share or Print PDF
From the token tile (see above) select "View Link" to open the SMS token web page.
Select the Print icon on the bottom right of screen to generate a PDF version.
Save the PDF, then email it to whomever required or send to your printer.
