Manage the form Settings

Additional features, functions and settings of the custom logs.

From the "Form Settings" in the "Edit" window, users can:

• Edit the title and description of the form.

• Prevent restricted admins from editing the form

• Archive the form.

• Print the form

• Clone the form to either:

  • the current asset,

  • another asset in the fleet

  • the fleet library (depending on your permission settings)

• Allow external parties to complete the form from a web browser. Selecting this check box reveals further options:

  • View "Complete Log" page. This is the same as Complete a custom form on a web browser

  • Copy Link. This copies the web address of the public custom form page to your PC's clipboard, where you can paste into an email or other message to other parties.

  • Reload the Weblink code. This changes the web address to the public custom form page, meaning that anyone who attempts to use the old link will not be able to access the form.

  • Restrict web access to crew only (only users with an OffshoreSMS profile and access to the asset).

  • Display the whole form on a single web page (I.E. not step through pages (default))

  • Allow external users to access to the form by scanning the vessel's QR code. The form will appear amongst the other information and options for the vessel when someone scans the QR code with their device. See Information and Settingsfor more information.

• Add an email address to receive a summary of completed forms.

• Choose to use the Form Key Identifier Fields. The data in the filed chosen as a key identifier will become the subject line in any email notifications.

• Prevent users from editing the form in-app.

• Allow the custom form to activate a new trip in the system whenever it is saved.
