## Access tiers:

Our web dashboard permission system has four admin access/permission tiers:

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
**Primary Administrator:**

Can manage all team members access and permissions. Note that the primary admin can only be assigned by OffshoreSMS, though there may be more than one Primary Admins.

Can manage all assets in all groups.

Can manage all fleet content

Can Manage billing
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Full Admin:**

Can manage all assets in all groups.

May only manage the permissions for Team members with Restricted admin permission, and may edit fleet level content.

Can manage billing
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Restricted admin:**

May only view ASSETS in the GROUP they have been granted permission for.

May only view and manage team members who have been assigned a ROLE on an ASSET in a GROUP they have been given access to by a full administrator.

Cannot edit admin permissions for any administrators.

May NOT edit fleet level content.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**No access:**

The team member will not see the fleet if they log in to OffshoreSMS on the Web. (this setting usually for users who are vessel crew but do not required dashboard access)
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

See full details of what restricted admins can and can't do here: [Admin Permissions Matrix](/your-fleet/fleet-team-members/fleet-administrator-permissions-and-notifications/admin-permissions-matrix.md)

#### In addition, Full Admins have the ability to further adjust the permissions for restricted admins.

1. From the fleet home page, select "Fleet Profile".
2. Under **"Manage Admins"**, select "**Restricted admins"**
3. Select the permission settings you want to apply for all restricted admins.

See here to learn how to adjust these permission settings: [Group Admin Advanced Permission settings](/your-fleet/fleet-team-members/fleet-administrator-permissions-and-notifications/group-admin-advanced-permission-settings.md)
