πŸ›₯️Adding/removing team members to and from marine assets

Information about how to add or remove a team member to a marine asset, or change their role, for app access purposes.

When a user is added to a vessel or other asset, or their role is changed, they will receive an in-app notification.

Once added, they will have access to the vessel from their app.


Method 1: Adding one or more team members from the Asset's page

1 - Click on the vessel icon, top left of screen, select a vessel, then the "People" tab in the header, then "Manage Team Members".

2 - Click the green "Add Asset Crew" button at the top right:

3 - In the pop-up window search for a user .

Type their name and click search. A list of options will appear, just select the name you want and verify the details. If it is the OffshoreSMS user you want, Select their role on board then "add to this asset".

They will receive an in-app notification that they have been added to the asst, and will now have access to the asset from within in their app.

4 - Once added, you can change the role for any of the vessel crew members:

5. To REMOVE them from the asset, select their name from the crew list as above, then click the cog "Settings" icon, then "Remove as Crew".


Method 2: Adding a team member to, or changing their role on multiple assets from the fleet team member page:

1 - Click on the Team Members page and select a team member:

2 - Choose the "Asset Roles" tab:

Once selected, set the correct role for each asset in the list.

Once the team member's roles are set or changed, click "Save Asset Access" at the bottom.
