Only Full admins are able to send Fleet team messages. Restricted Admins should refer to Message GROUP team members to message team member who are assigned a role on assets in their group.
Admins can message multiple recipients and filter the recipient list by permission level and team member tag.
They can also opt to send a duplicate email to the recipient, allow recipients to reply to the message from in-app, and see who has read the message (read receipts).
From the fleet "All team Members" page (crew icon, top left of screen), select "Team Messaging".
Here you can view all of the message history, or send a new message. Click "Send Message" on the right of screen to begin your new message.
Proceed through the steps to create your message:
Choose your recipients. Use the filter to shorten the list if it's difficult to narrow it down.
Note: To message crew members of only one asset, you should use the group messaging or asset crew messaging features.
Select your message type, and compose your message (up to 200 characters).
Check the box to "Also Send Email" if you would like the system to also generate an email to the user's registered email address when you hit Send on the next page.
Choose to allow users to select from a list of responses, and compose any required responses.
Hit "Send Message". The sent message will now appear in the message history timeline. Responses and read receipts also appear here as they are received.
