OffshoreSMS considers Defects and Hazards one and the same.

Defect/Hazard reporting and tracking is an integral and important part of effective asset management. Here at OffshoreSMS we have worked hard to bring you an efficient and easy to use hazard/defect management system.

Key Points

Defects that are logged either in the app or from the web dashboard, trigger an in-app alert to users with the relevant notification settings. Some users may need to adjust their devices notification settings to allow banners or other notification types.

The system allows users from the web dashboard and the app to collaborate and monitor the creation, steps towards resolution and the actual resolution of defects/hazards.

Hazard/defects can either be attributed to one or more P&E items or none.
