βš™οΈSetting up maintenance schedules

Information about how to add one or more new maintenance schedules to any plant or equipment item that has already been set up.


Adding a new maintenance schedule:

  1. From the asset's home page select the Maintenance tab, then "Plant & Major Equipment"

  2. Click on the "Maintenance Schedules" button to reveal the schedules.

    1. Note: this button is colour coded depending on the status of the schedules. I.E RED if there are overdue schedules here.

  3. Click "+Add a new schedule" and work your way through the set up window.

The steps are:

  1. Name and description: Choose a name that will make sense when it appears in the app for your skippers and crew, ie 100 Hour Service, or Annual Inspection. The description is optional but useful.

  2. Add a field title: This is the prompt for app users to respond to. I.E. "Condition of Belts?"

  3. Choose response options for each field. These can be either:

  4. A text field (app users can input free text in response to the field title)

  5. Checklist (app users select multiple responses or check off the items)

  6. "Radio" buttons (app users select only one response from the list. I.E. "As new", "Fair", "Poor")

  7. Select the recurrence cycle: Choose to repeat by either

    1. Plant hours - Select the interval period and the hours to begin the cycle from. This determines when the next schedule is DUE.

    2. Time - Select the interval period in number of days, weeks or months, and a date to begin the cycle from. This determines when the next schedule is DUE.

  8. Review Save the schedule


Edit an existing schedule

  1. On the P&E item, select the Maintenance schedules tile to reveal the schedules for that P&E item.

  2. Select the "Edit" (pencil) icon on the right of the schedule's tile.

  3. Work your way through the set up window and make the edits required


Delete a schedule:

  1. On the P&E item, select the Maintenance schedules tile to reveal the schedules for that P&E item.

  2. Select the "Archive" (box) icon on the right of the schedule's tile, then click to confirm in the pop up window.


Copy a schedule:

You can copy a maintenance schedule to other P&E items within the asset. For example, the Port and Stb engine.

  1. On the P&E item, select the Maintenance schedules tile to reveal the schedules for that P&E item

  2. Select the "Duplicate" icon on the right of the schedule's tile.

  3. In the pop-up window select which P&E item to copy the schedule to, and edit the name if required then hit "Copy".


Update the order of the schedules

  1. From the asset's home page select the Maintenance tab, then "Plant & Major Equipment"

  2. Click on the "Maintenance Schedules" button to reveal the schedules.

  3. Select "Update Saved Order" at the bottom right of the P&E item's window.

  4. Drag and drop the schedules into your desired order and click "Update Saved Order".
