Plant & Equipment Tags

A helpful way to sort and organise large P&E lists.

Some examples of P&E Tags might be:

  • Load shifting plant

  • Propulsion

  • Pumps

  • Locations such as fore-peak or aft compartment

Manage you list of available tags

  1. From the assets home page, select the Maintenance tab, then select "Plant & Major Equipment".

  2. Select the "Manage Tags" tile on the right of screen.

  3. Write your new tag name and hit "Save new tag".

  4. Drag and drop to change the order of the tags, or use the icons on the right to "dit the tag, or delete the tag from the library.

Assign or change the tags assigned to P&E items

  1. From P&E page, select the "Actions" tile, then select "Update tags".

  2. Select the tags you want to assign to the P&E item, then click "Update Tags".

Filter the P&E list by tag:

This will update the display on your screen but will not affect the display or the order for other users.

  1. Next to the search bar at the top of the page select "Filter Items By Tag", then choose the tags to filter by.

  2. Choose to filter the list to show P&E items that have either ALL of the tags selected, or ANY of the tags selected. I.E. to show only PUMPS in the AFT COMPARTMENT, select "ALL". To show everything in both the AFT COMPARTMENT and the FORE PEAK, select "ANY".

See all tags assigned

  1. Select "Show Each Items Tags" at the top of the page.
