Assets should only have one profile that all crew will connect to.
In most cases the asset will already have profile, and you can search for it and request access (refer to the information below).
Most users just need access to an existing asset already set up in OffshoreSMS. To search for the asset and request access:
From your app home page, click on the Marine Assets button.
Click the blue SEARCH icon at the bottom right of the screen.
In the search field, type the first 4-5 letters of the vessel or asset name and click Search.
When you find the right vessel or asset, click the green "Request Crew Access" button.
The asset owner and any other authorised personnel will be notified and, once one of them accept your request, the asset will appear in your list.
Users that are already connected to the asset (with the right permissions) can add you to the asset from the app:
Go into the asset's "Crew & Passengers" section.
Select "Manage All Crew"
Select "Add New Crew"
Search for the crew members profile by name and select their role on board.
