This section refers to the asset ROLES available for app users, and the permission (app access) settings for each role.
Each ACCESS LEVEL has multiple sections, each of which can be set to either EDIT, VIEW, or NONE.
EDIT: App users can make changes to the that section of the SMS or asset profile.
VIEW: App users can view that section and complete logs, but are unable to make edits to the content. I.E. if the section "Crew Management" is set to "View" the user can see the crew list but cannot add or remove crew. Or if the section Maintenance is set to EDIT, users can complete logs AND change the maintenance checklist items.
NONE: Users simply do not have this button or feature in their version of the app.
Each role can have up to ten responsibility or other statements attached to it.
Each role can have unique notification settings.
This can be found by clicking into a marine asset then the People Tab, then Crew Roles and Responsibilities.
Note: Each of the three access levels is independent of the others. You can assign any number of roles to the same access level.
None
These sections won't appear in the app for the user
View
The user will be able to view and complete logs in the app
Edit
The user will be able to view/edit these sections, as well as make edits to content (ie edit SMS content, add or remove plant or equipment)
