📢Management responsibility statements
Information on managing the Responsibility Statements for people like the Owner and Designated person.
A good SMS must detail the who has management responsibility over the asset for things like ensuring SMS compliance, providing resources and equipment, and proper maintenance of the asset.
We recommend as a minimum the following management statements:
Owners responsibility
Designated persons Responsibility
Organisation hierarchy or chain of command statement
Creating a Management Statement:
From the asset's home page, select the "People" tab, then "Management Statements".
Select "+ Add Content" and choose to either add one of our helper statements (you can edit these once they have been added), add fleet content, or write a new statement unique to the asset.
If you choose to write your own, you will have the option to use our A.I. tool to write one for you, which you can then edit as required.
